RV Site Rules

Persons registered with No 1 BFTS Museum (referred to as “resident”) are responsible for their own conduct, for the conduct of all members of their party, and for their guests’ conduct.  BFTS Museum will not tolerate any ornery, obnoxious, or offensive behavior or activity, of any sort, that could interrupt and/or adversely affect the enjoyment of other parties using the event facilities.  In the event of such activity or the violation of any of the RV Site Rules, the parties responsible for such activities will be required to leave their site immediately, without a refund.

CHECK OUT TIME IS BY 6:00 PM< MONDAY, APRIL 8.

NO IN AND OUT WITH YOUR RIG: You and your rig will be escorted to your site. Once there, unless there is an emergency, your rig cannot be moved until check out time.

RV SITES ARE “DRY CAMPING” AND DO NOT HAVE WATER, ELECTRICITY OR SEWER CONNECTIONS: Your rig must be fully self-contained.

NO LIQUIDS CAN BE DUMPED OR POURED ON THE GROUND: This includes any liquid, of any kind, other than air conditioner condensation.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED.  ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE UPON BOOKING AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  This arrangement does not constitute a landlord/tenant agreement.  Payment for sites is entirely for services rendered under a host/guest agreement. According to Texas Penal Code Section 31:04(b), any guest (Resident) who leaves without paying for site services or who refuses to pay for site services when due is subject to criminal prosecution.  We are providing a site for your RV.  We require full payment in advance and will actively prosecute any violations under this “THEFT OF SERVICES LAW”.

NO REFUND POLICY:  Fees are payable in advance and are NON-REFUNDABLE, under any circumstance. Be certain before you make the reservation.                                                                                

NO FIRES OTHER THAN GAS GRILLS: There are to be no fires or flames outside other than gas grills. This includes, but is not limited to fire pits, chimineas, gas heaters and candles.

CHILDREN:  All children twelve years of age and under must be under adult supervision (age 18 and over) at all times.

VEHICLES ALLOWED ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS. All vehicles must be driven or parked in areas designated by BFTS Museum for parking.

AIRPORT ACCESS TIMES: Vehicles will not be permitted in or out of the restricted airport area between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, except for emergency, fire, police and authorized vehicles.

NO DRONES, BALLOONS, RC AIRCRAFT, ETC.: If it leaves the ground, it may not be used.

AIRPORT RUNWAYS AND TAXIWAYS ARE OFF LIMITS: This is an active airport. Residents may not go beyond the barriers. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave immediately. This is for everyone’s safety.

GOLF CARTS AND ATV’S:  Golf carts and ATV’s must be approved, before they can be used. There will be limited approval for golf carts and ATV’s.

GENERATOR EXHAUST OR NOISE: If your generator is releasing excessive fumes or is very loud, you may be asked to shut it down.

QUIET HOURS ARE 10:00 PM TO 7:00 AM.  Noise must be kept at a minimum during this time.  Radios, stereos, TV’s, etc. are not allowed to be used outside of the RV during these hours.  Please respect your neighbor’s privacy and everyone’s right to “peaceful enjoyment” of the airport at all hours.

TRASH.  Please place trash in the provided barrels.

PETS ON LEASH ONLY.  Pets must be kept on a leash, at all times, when outside the RV. Pet owners are required to clean up and dispose of any mess caused by their pet. Pets are not allowed in any building.

ZERO TOLERANCE ON DRUGS.  The use or possession of illegal drugs will result in the immediate expulsion from the airport and may involve Terrell Police action.

ALCOHOL: Please drink responsibly. Excessive alcohol use in public may result in the immediate expulsion from the airport and possible Terrell Police action.

RV SITE APPEARANCE.  No laundry may be hung outside of your RV.  All items must fit in your site area. Due to aircraft traffic, no poles or large antennas, other than satellite TV dishes, can extend higher than your RV roof.

SPEED LIMIT.  The speed limit anywhere around the RV Site Area is 10 mph..

GUEST LIMITATIONS: The maximum number of persons per site is six (family) or four (individuals).  Management reserves the right to limit the number of persons and the length of stay at any time. If you have guests coming, they must park outside the airport and walk inside or in a designated Ben Gill Park place.

LITTER.  Please do not discard cigarette butts or any other type of litter on the ground.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES.  No 1 BFTS Museum, Association of Breezy Hill Park and/or the City of Terrell are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, thefts, or any other loss or damage regardless of cause, negligence or omission. Residents agree to be responsible for any damage caused by their intentional acts and/or omissions. 

TERMINATION OF RIGHT TO USE YOUR SITE: Failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the RV Site Rules will result in the immediate termination of a resident’s right to use their site.  Upon termination of a resident’s privileges, the resident and his/her party will be required to immediately vacate the assigned space and leave the airport or park, without a refund.
